Kyara's Theator Performances Journal

On 30th November 2025, I acted as  a bear eraser.  It was  another production of  Tamasha's. Its the Weight of Small Things play. I did almost everything by myself.  I wrote the script and planed how I will enter and exit all by myself.  I acted as a cute bear eraser and my monologue was about its life. My goal was simple get the audience engaged and make sure they find my piece interesting. I tried my best to engaged audience and to interacted with them in the beginning.  I asked them a question so that they would think i'm intracting withthem and pay close attention.  I also tried not to rush through my lines so they can listen to me clearly.  I tried to make facial expressions to match emotions.  My monologue went well as I did not rush and my interaction with audience. Things that challenged me was trying not to get distracted by a baby who cried once. I noticed it but did not let it affect my acting. I learnt that acting takes time...

My first theater play was at Play Den. I felt calm but when I got to the venue I felt excited  as we had been training for three and a half  months. I liked my role as a sporty, kind and playful Shafiya.  There are 2 main reasons  1: i like playing cricket and Shafiya is a bats lady in cricket 2:i like her personality she is playful,understanding and kind friend to Amara, Anaya, Althea, Nadia and Dadu.  And that is my main role there is still more. My 2 minor roles were as a scam officer and love are still my minor roles. 1. scam officer:as a scam officer I think I could have been the best officer but I was not as I held the “stop think don't get tricked scams are fast don't u click poster upside down.” 2. Love: I think did good as I did not say my line while others did as the teacher did not give any odor like who to go first so on so forth.  Now my ensemble roles I have 2 1. marching role:i tried not laughing as the senior put the anger sash any how but I...

Tamasha by Deepika Rajani is an acting class I go for since September 2025.            I like TAMASHA as I have learnt new techqinues in acting so far like how it helped me by telling me if I forget my line how to still continue with it on  stage. I also like it as it helps me understand acting better. By teaching me emotions to understand how actors act and now I can identify the emotions based on the actions and best part I get to perform on a stage. that is the reason I like TAMASHA by deepika rajan.Tamasha class. I have 2 main roles in the upcoming theater performance. The role I love is as a cricket player and I get to play cricket and I am the batsman. Acting and preparing is fun.

At my old acting class, I prepared and did a role as a narrator in the boy and the tree performance. To me I do not think we did well because there were more toddlers than my age group hence the toddlers did not act well because they did not know what is going on.  This was my final performance at the end of 3 terms with this class at Buangkok CC under YMCA. The performance was about a boy taking a tree for granted as he grew older and older. It was inspired by a book. In the performance I was the narrator.  I liked the moral. It was even if the tree was dead, it still gives as it gave the boy a place to sit on when he had cut the tree down. I did not like how the play was produced, but I like my small role as the narrator. I was loud (but I did not yell) and there was no hesitation.So I think I did a good job.

Like the Beautiful Opps I went to a Gateway theater to observe how a story teller performs. Script It was childish, as target audience was 4-7 years. *write more on how the story was delivered Acting I wold say she was energetic, interacted with audience and made good eye contact. So I think for the age group target she was good and fun and she always looked all over the room.  Story Line The story was about a bear be friending with a ladybug . The  bear helped save a ladybug so they became friends . O ne day they participated in a race and they were thinking that they would do it together but they had a disagreement during practice so they did it separately . In the end they reunited, helped each other and won the race . I found the story line boring as it was too straightforward without any twists . Honestly I was trying not to sleep. And as I noticed the lady story teller's shirt was too short, I shall always tuck in my shirt until I hit puberty.    

On the 30 august 2025, I had a jazz concert. I was preforming to please M r P ostman. It took me 2 weeks to remember all the steps. on the day of the concert I felt excited to preform on stage. My class was the second one to preform . There was only 1 mistake I made. I thought I looked nice up there because before the concert everyone says I looked beautiful. I put my brightest smile up there. We trained for 1 month so of course i danced with pride. Even my little cosin face lit up. After the last item we had to do the finale. I thought it was a wast of time beacause it was not going to help me in dancing . After the concert I felt proud  I even got a reward. I cant wait till next years one.  

             In September,I attended a beautiful opps play.It was about turning mistakes into master pieces.I liked the scene where elephant was sneezing and making abstract art because the art was pretty.I  also found the play interesting as I was really wanted to know what happened next.So script wise I loved it and I found acting wise is also amazing.Because the actors projected  their voices yet they never screamed.I also really like the singing and dancing parts.Based on me script wise and acting wise I liked it.That is not the end I still have to tell about prop wise.I think the props are so so.Because it was not really suitable for stage unless you are dancing.But otherwise I liked the show.I also support the Freddo Theater as they are good in acting and in gave me free tickets for submitting my video.  

  Beautiful Opps Even though I was too young to act for the theater product, Beautiful Opps, I still made a animated video about me and my own beautiful opps moment. Before I sent the video I felt confident as I had practiced a few times. I talked about my art project and how it makes me feel, why I liked it and my own beautiful opps moment which was mistaking someone for my sister. Honestly during the video I felt a bit impatient as the recording setup took a long time. My father said that I had to make 3 separate video. After I was done, I felt proud that all these videos were going to be played on the performance. That was what I expected. Reality is harsh. They only played one of my videos. They animated what I sent. I have attached the recording below:
